Turn Your Vacation into an Adventure

Open Air Adventure Park

A new business recently opened in Estes Park, CO that offers a new way to have a blast, and perhaps learn a thing or two about yourself in the process.  The Open Air Adventure Park is family owned and operated outdoor aerial park.

There are 32 exciting and challenging elements to the course, and you can choose whether you want to do the lower course at 10 feet above ground, or the high course at 21 feet above ground.  These aerial adventure parks are popular in Europe, and Estes Park is excited to welcome Open Air Adventure Park to all our visitors!

One thing we got excited about when we spoke with co-owner, Tim Kreutzer, is that this activity is for almost anyone! Tim says, "We've seen anyone from a young seven year old having a blast, to their grandparents getting up on it and having an equally fun time."  Unlike some other ropes or challenge courses where team building is the focus, this activity really caters to the individual.  Tim explains, "The great thing about it is you can pick how hard of a challenge you want to do, which really allows people to get up there who maybe normally wouldn't ge up on something like this."

The course takes about 90 minutes, and there is plenty of support and guidance from the staff.  It's not meant to be a scary thing, it's a fun way to try something new.  You can push yourself, or take it easy.  Either way, it's sure to make your day.  Tim says "Instead of going on a thrill ride, you feel like you've accomplished something and there's a bigger level of personal satisfaction. I love that aspect and it's one of the reasons I got into it! We want people to come, have a good time, and leave with a sense of accomplisment and a smile on their face."

Why not take Dad up to Estes Park to try it for Father's Day? They are offering a special promotion of $10 off Dad's admission, or going free if they bring three or more family members. The special also comes with a free beer from Estes Park Brewery with your receipt.
