Ride the Rockies - Annual Bike Tour Comes thru Estes Park
In 1986, The Denver Post created the Ride the Rockies Colorado Bike Tour. Every year since, elite bicyclists and every-day riding enthusiasts from across the country and around the world arrive in CO to participate in this six day tour. With yearly route changes, the tour has highlighted the diverse terrain and communities across the state. No matter the route, the riders face challenging mountain passes and spectacular views!
This year, Ride the Rockies will include a ride over Trail Ridge Road on June 14th, thru Estes Park, ending the 500+ mile ride in Fort Collins. For those of you unfamiliar with Trail Ridge Road, it is the highest continuously paved road in the U.S., spanning Rocky Mountain National Park.
