Did you ever wonder about the Estes Ark as you drove into Estes Park on Highway 34? What's inside it? It's a really fun place for the whole family - kids and adults alike!
Not only can you find stuffed animals of all shapes and sizes, but there are several great activities for families to do together.
You can head downstairs to the Rainbow Curve to what's known as "Colorado's Oldest Slot Car Raceway." Up to 6 people can race on the 100 foot slot car track - you can either rent the track with equipment (1/24 or 1/32 scale slot cars) or bring your own.
Or, if slot car racing isn't your thing, you can take the kids outside for some good old-fashioned panning for gems, fossils and arrowheads in the mountains!
So, if you're looking for something fun for the whole family, head on over the the Estes Ark! They are located at 521 Lone Pine Drive just off Highway 34 by Lake Estes.
