4th of July - Independence Day Weekend
Fireworks over Lake Estes starting around 9:30 pm on July 4th. Professional Bull Riding (Touring Pro Division).
- Start the day off with the traditional Independence Day Pancake Breakfast at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church (920 Big Thompson Avenue)
- During the day you can go paddleboarding, hiking, play miniature golf, go for a horse ride, explore the aerial adventure park (Open Air Adventure Park) or check out the Coolest Car Show held at the Estes Park Events Center at Stanely Park Fairgrounds from 10 am to 4 pm. You could also go to the Historic Hoedown at the Stanley Hotel starting at 3 pm.
- Settle down at the Performance Park Amphitheater at 7 pm to enjoy the Estes Village Band's annual patriotic concert featuring the works of John Philip Sousa and others. It's free to all. Or enjoy the Professional Bull Riding - Pro Touring Division at the Fairgrounds at Stanley Park from 6:30 to 9:15 pm. Tickets from $15 to $30.
- Fireworks start at 9:30 over Lake Estes. Good places to see the show are from the Lake Estes Trail or at the Stanley Park.
Grand Lake's Old Time Fourth - Dance Party and Family Fun Games at Lakefront Park, including a Water Balloon volley. Best Dressed Patriot Contest, and a Lighted Boat Parade on Grand Lake.
