For he Cache La Poudre, 2008 is expected to be one of the best whitewater seasons since 2003. Snowpack basin totals for the Poudre River are 130% of last season and 110% of average. Because of cooler conditions during May we are predicting an above average runoff for the months of June, July and August. This means a longer season and better whitewater throughout the entire summer - good news for whitewater enthusiasts on the Poudre.
