Plan ahead for Christmas 2023

Gather your whole family for an old-fashioned white Christmas this year in Estes Park, Colorado surrounded by the incredible winter beauty of Rocky Mountain National Park.

You’ll stay in a cozy mountain cabin, cottage, or suite complete with a wood-burning fireplace and kitchenette from Friday Dec. 22 to Wednesday Dec. 27. 2023. (If you want to stay longer, additional nights are available for the Holiday Special Rate in your selected cabin).

Snowshoe into private woods to find and harvest your perfect Christmas tree, and bring it back to decorate your mountain cabin. Nothing smells more like Christmas than a freshly cut tree! Transportation to the woods, a saw, hot cocoa, donuts and sleds are provided.  Your tree will be set up for you in your cabin, ready for the family to decorate together.  Make your decorations or bring some special ornaments from home.

Enjoy exploring winter outdoors – snowshoeing, sledding, ice skating, or winter hikes in the Park.  Then come home to a cozy fire and a hot tub soak under the stars!

This is the tenth year that the folks at McGregor Mountain Lodge and Castle Mountain Lodge have offered this popular Christmas Package.  But don’t wait too long to book – parties are limited to 10.  The Old-Fashioned Christmas Package includes:

• 5 Nights in a one, two, or three bedroom cabin or suite

• Ice Skate Rentals for the local rink
• Free snowshoe rentals for your family
• Sleds for use during your stay
• Free Movie Rentals from Our Video Library (Popcorn Included)
• Free reserved family time in Our Hot Tub

Any 1 Bedroom Cabin or Suite priced for 2 People: $2,295
Any 1 Bedroom Spa Cottage priced for 2 People (Castle Only): $2,895
Any 2 Bedroom Cabin or Suite priced for 4 People: $3,295
Any 3 Bedroom Cabin priced for 6 People (Castle Only): $3,995

Note: Extra People may be added for $100 per person as cabin size allows.

Note that a deposit of half of the total is due at the time of booking to confirm.

Dogs are part of the family too!  Dogs are allowed in certain cabins for an additional $25/night per dog (max 2 dogs). Let us know at time of booking.
