There are many natural areas in Colorado that make Estes Park hiking some of the best in the US.
You will find Rocky Mountain National Park climbing in abundance over its 350 miles of trails that take you
to high mountain peaks, rivers, waterfalls, lakes, fields of
wildflowers, montane forests, high meadows, and alpine tundra.
There's hiking for all ages and abilities - whether your goal is a
short nature walk around a high, mountain lake or a multi-day trek
along the Continental Divide. So many trails leading to so many
beautiful spots make hiking a very popular activity in the park.

Roosevelt National Forest on the east side of Estes Park
offers lower-elevation Estes Park hiking trails up mountains, through forests, and to
historic sites. Some of these less-trafficked trails are also open
to bikes, horses, and dogs. For specific information, link to these
