Make a weekend of the Frozen Dead Guy Days Festival!

Join us in Estes Park from March 14-17, 2024, for 4 days of events anchored by an incredible music festival, world-famous coffin races, and phenomenal frozen fun. Frozen Dead Guy Days is not your average festival – it’s a mix of quirky races, live entertainment, delicious themed dining, and blood-pumping activities!

 

St. Patrick’s Weekend unlike any other!

Start the weekend off with a Zombie Bar Crawl on Thursday, March 14. Dress up in your best zombie attire and check out Estes Park’s restaurant and craft beverage scene. There will be specialty Frozen Dead Drinks and Zombie Bites, and chilling decorations!

On Friday, March 15 – Join the FREE  Icebreaker Kickoff event at Bond Park in downtown Estes! Attendees can enjoy live music by A-Mac & the Height and the Living Room Band.

At the Icebreaker, be sure to pick up your FREE  Frozen Sweets Stroll punch card. This card gives you access to Frozen Dead Guy themed treats from 3:00 – 5:00pm at 8 different participating candy stores, ice cream shops, bakeries, and chocolatiers downtown!

Friday night from 6:00 – 8:30pm head over to Lonigan’s. For just $10, let the frosty beats of Black Canyon Backbeat send shivers down your spine.

 

 

The Main Events

Saturday, March 16 head over to the Estes Park Events Complex for the legendary Coffin Races, live music, and fun frosty games. Get your tickets here. Gates open at 12:00pm and close at 9:30pm.

What are the Coffin Races? Teams of “pallbearers” will race head-to-head, through a course full of obstacles, mud, snow, and drills in a grandstand setting. It’s a blast to watch! Coffin races are scheduled to begin at 1:30pm.

All day there will be incredible live music on 3 different stages by national and local bands! See the band line-up here.

Sunday, March 17 – Close out the weekend with live music and themed brunch menus around town at Bands & Bloody Brunch. Participating restaurants:

Polar Plunge – $10 to plunge* and FREE to cheer and chuckle! Don a costume and jump into the duck pond at Coffee on the Rocks from 10:30 – 11:30am. Register here.   *Benefits the Estes Park Nonprofit Network.
