Rocky Ridge Music Center Summer Concerts
Music in the Mountains
Rocky Ridge Music Center holds an Estes Park mountain summer camp for musicians of all ages. Located at the base of Longs Peak a few miles south of Estes Park on Highway 7, it’s just outside of Rocky Mountain National Park. This historic summer campus was established in 1942, and fills with youth, college, and adult residential programs for aspiring musicians.
During sessions that range from 4 days to 4 weeks long, students work on solo, chamber, and orchestral pieces under the guidance of world class faculty instructors. They practice in facilities with inspiring mountain views and stay in cabins in the woods. Young Jazz musicians study performance, theory, and history. Adults can join a 5 day piano workshop, or play in a Chamber ensemble.
